Elementary structures.

Collect images and own family histories, lineages and DNA tectonic plates that, due to shock or sedimentation, form mountain chains and, by dint of going back, towards the end of the 19th century, place us before the strategies of possibility that break regulations and codes. The elementary structures... is a project in which the image becomes the sum of time shared in the most basic unit of existence: genes, bacteria and stories that, with all the modifications, are added in transit. Story after story, everything becomes fiction that configures the living and constantly evolving image of a family, an open process - betrayed by memory and memories - with facts and traits that are repeated over the years. Destinations that are the same, burdens that one does not know where they come from and can only be attributed to a past that, despite not being his directly, is written all over the body, as if everything were an infinite existence. This living and constantly expanding organ is life, made of distances and proximities, of bifurcations spun to transform the fabric of each proposal into other stories to investigate.

The accumulation of genetic information and story has to do with memory and fragility, but also with the connections that we would find in the boxes of an archive, in the air that they do not have, in the drippings of words that cannot stand the narrowness of so much closed gaze, because nothing can be kept for a long time without fleeing to other places. The archive is as fragile as the wear and tear of any fabric and emotion that you want to preserve or extinguish without understanding its true conditions of possibility, but you always have to spin the interweaving again to achieve infinite expansion.
