On December 12, 2007, Guinovart was killed, but a week before he opened the Museum of the History of Catalonia his last exhibition: entitled "Posters of a time" and reflected the civic commitment of its cartelist universe.

To commemorate the tenth anniversary of his death, the last exhibition is reworded in order to publicize his rich legacy of posters, his pictorial evolution (from a figurative poster from the 59th to the last of the 2007) and the scope of its commitment.

L'Hospitalet de Llobregat was one of the cities with which Guinovart maintained a closer relationship, culminated in the anthological exhibition at La Tecla Sala in 1999, and the tribute to Barradas in 2005.
